Workforce & Continuing Education offers noncredit classes to the general public. Some prerequisites, including age and educational level, mandated by the State of Texas, are required for certain programs.
Students under age 18 must have completed the sophomore year of high school to enroll in a workforce education course and must have written permission from parents to enroll in camps or personal interest courses.
Click "Workforce and Continuing Education" below to apply for one of the following programs: Risk Management and Safety, Activity Director (long-term care facilities), Certified Production Technician (manufacturing), Dietary Manager (long-term care facilities), Heavy Equipment Operator, Medical Assistant, Medication Aide, Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, Truck Driving (Class A CDL), and computer-related classes.
